About Laurie June 29, 2007
I am a happily married, proud mother of 3 young adults, living in the suburbs and working full time as a long-term librarian in public schools in metro Richmond.
Thanks to a good friend, former neighbor, knitting tutor and inspirational creative person, I began blogging in July 2007. I have revamped this site numerous times and plan to get back on track with learning new technology in the process of having fun writing and sharing.
Two of our young adults have finished college and live out of state in the central time zone. Our youngest child was born at home on purpose with a midwife. My reading interests vary widely and I will share books on topics from midwifery fiction to Alaska. I read a lot of Children’s Literature and also enjoy Young Adult Literature.

Okay, so, like, I am a Capricorn too! Have you read the young adult fiction called Far North? It is about Canada, and floatplanes and such which we did when we were in AK.

And a happy new year to your family as well. I enjoyed hearing about everyone! My first time at this. Communication is incredible. K will start her first job as an OT Jan. 7th. Found car for her. Now looking for rental or home purchase. Also good schools in the Fredericksburg area. “The way will open”
Happy New Year to you. I am so impressed with your blog! You have a nice variety of different things to read. Here are some thoughts I’ve come across lately in my reading:
Dissent without action is assent.
When you throw something away, remember that there no “away.”
Yea! Love the new format!
Glad to read this through MyYahoo reader. I hope it stays relatively private but you never know about all these Web 2.0 technologies — Glad to be back in touch with you from Sister Susan.
