“Your Poor Planning is not MY EMERGENCY!!” March 6, 2008
Don’t you just love that saying?! You can apply it to many work situations. I sure can!
Today’s topic is road rage. When did it become not necessary to YIELD? When did it become a good idea to excessively tailgate, pass on the right and change lanes repeatedly without using a signal? Now that I am communting again (64 miles per day round trip), I spend more time on I-95 than I care to admit. I have memorized how to get off at the poorly planned cloverleaf merge and entrance areas. When I heard recently that “some” people in VA are using the DMV as their Driver’s Education School, I am not surprised . “Some” people have flunked the test 80 times. Hmmm. …is something wrong with this scenario????
I have seen my life flash before me a few times and prefer not to repeat this on a daily basis. Come on people, be polite and give your fellow driver’s a brake!
