“At The End Of The Day” December 19, 2007

What is your reaction to this current “phrase” that is being repeated over and over and over? I actually like it, but am already tired of hearing different people say it repeatedly.

Over the years I have noticed that certain “phrases” catch on and are trampled into the ground.

Do I sound like Andy Rooney?  U-Betcha- No Problem- groovy- outta sight-wow- cool- hot-  (?others?)

Due to the continuing Writer’s Strike, we have found some DVD gems. If you are interested in world traveling, but realistically know you aren’t going to get everywhere; visit Micael Palin’s website and see what the UK has already seen in TV show form and accompanying books.  He’s not just part of Monty Python, he’s a travel writer extraodinaire!

What is Festivus? Dec 23!!! December 8, 2007

festivus-ice-cream.jpg

In honor of the show Seinfeld, this a “created” holiday similar, but different than Kwanzaa. We actually created a Festivus Pole the year before last out of a coat tree and “lottsa” tin foil.  It was a fun/hilarious way to celebrate a holiday birthday. {hint hint} I love the “Airing of the Grievances“  Check it Out!

3. My favorite explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festivus

And since we like the business practices of Ben & Jerry’s– see if you can find their speciality ice cream in honor of Festivus! ( I think it is out-of-print—you know-limited edition etc etc)- Ohmy gawd- it’s in the Flavor Graveyard! Bummer!

Anyway, here’s a plug for Vermont Ice Cream made by left-wing eco-friendly guys. Send an e-card or play games too!
